WebMD Health Corp. Class Action Lawsuit Complaint Over Alleged Securities Law Violations

WebMD WBMD Stock Purchasers File Securities Fraud Class Action Lawsuit Complaint Against WebMD Health.

A class action lawsuit complaint has reportedly been filed against WebMD Health Corp. (“WebMD Health” or “WebMD) and certain WebMD officers and directors (collectively “Defendants”) in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, alleging, among other things, that WebMD and certain officers and directors failed to disclose  that WebMD was allegedly experiencing sponsorship cancellations because of extended legal and regulatory reviews and that WebMD’s customers were allegedly delaying advertising on the WebMD’s website as a result of smaller advertising budgets, according to WebMD securities fraud class action lawsuit news reports.

The WebMD securities fraud class action lawsuit complaint is reportedly brought on behalf of a putative class consisting of purchasers of the common stock of WebMD Health who purchased WebMD stock (WBMD) during the period from February 23, 2011 through July 15, 2011 (the “Class Period”).

Does this concern the reorganization that took place during this time? For example, if I had 100 shares of webmd , it would be “reorganized” into 44 shares. I would like to know what is going on.
