A securities class action lawsuit was filed against Addus HomeCare (ADUS) in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois on behalf of purchasers of Addus HomeCare common stock (ADUS) for alleged violations of federal securities laws, according to a class action press release.

The Addus HomeCare securities class action complaint reportedly alleges, among other things, that defendants issued a misleading registration statement on or about October 27, 2009 in connection with Addus HomeCare’s initial public offering or IPO that failed to disclose that Addus HomeCare accounts receivables included $1.5 million in aged receivables that should have been reserved for.
