The proposed Zantac class action lawsuit is reportedly brought on behalf of the following nationwide putative class members:

“All persons within the United States who took the drug Zantac and
who do not have a diagnosis of cancer that has been attributed to
Zantac as of the filing of this complaint.”

The Plaintiffs and the putative class members in the Zantac class action law suit reportedly seek, among other things, an order certifying the case as a class action pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 23, establishment of a medical monitoring program, the establishment of a science board to conduct additional research on the future impact of Zantac on members of the class in order to improve the effectiveness of the medical monitoring program, and an award of attorneys’ fees and costs to counsel for Plaintiffs and the Class.
