Spectranetics Class Action Settlement Announced In Spectranetics Securities Fraud Class Action Lawsuit.
A class action settlement has been reached in a class action lawsuit brought against medical laser maker Spectranetics Corp. on behalf of shareholders who bought Spectranetics’s stock between March 16, 2007 and Sept. 4, 2008 and pending in the United States District Court for the District of Colorado alleging that Spectranetics and others (collectively “Defendants”) violated federal securities fraud laws by making false and misleading statements and omissions, according to class action news reports.
Spectranetics will reportedly pay $8.5 million, which will be funded by its insurers, to settle the class action lawsuit.
