The Rexall NBTY Dietary Supplement & Glucosamine settlement class reportedly includes, unless otherwise excluded, all consumers who, during particular time periods and in certain U.S. locations, purchased for personal use and not resale or distribution certain joint health dietary supplements (a) sold by Rexall or any of its affiliates under the brand names of Rexall or its affiliates; or, (b) manufactured by Rexall or any of its affiliates but sold under another brand name by a company not affiliated with Rexall.

Covered Glucosamine Products include brands such as American Health, CVS, Duane Reade, Equate, Equaline, Finest Naturals, Flex-a-Min, Good N Natural, Hannaford, Health Accents, Kirkland, Knox, Kroger, Life Fitness, MET-Rx, Member’s Mark, Origin, Natural Wealth, Nature’s Bounty, Osteo Bi-Flex, Rexall, Safeway, Physiologics, ShopRite, Solgar, Spring Valley, Sundown, Sunmark, Target, Up and Up, Vitamin World and Walgreens.

What Settlement Benefits Does The Rexall NBTY Dietary Supplement & Glucosamine Class Action Settlement Provide?

Under the Rexall NBTY Dietary Supplement & Glucosamine class action settlement, Rexall and NBTY Dietary Supplement & Glucosamine class members who submit a claim by December 3, 2013, with Adequate Proof of Purchase of a Covered Product, reportedly will be entitled to receive $5.00 per bottle of Covered Product purchased (up to a maximum of 10 per household), while those who submit a timely claim without Adequate Proof of Purchase may recover $3.00 per bottle of Covered Product (up to a maximum of 4 per household). If the total dollar value of valid claims submitted is less than $2 million, class member’ recovery may be increased pro rata up to a certain amount.
