Rawlings Power Balance Class Action Settlement of Steiner v. Rawlings Sporting Goods Lawsuit

If you purchased one or more Rawlings Power Balance Products In The U.S. from March 1, 2010 to October 11, 2013, you may be entitled to certain monetary benefits from the Rawlings Power Balance Class Action Settlement.

Rawlings Sporting Goods Company, Inc. (“Rawlings” or “Defendant”) has reportedly agreed to a proposed settlement of a class action lawsuit against Rawlings in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey (captioned as Ian Steiner, et al. v. Rawlings Sporting Goods Company, Inc., Case No. 2:12-cv-02531) alleging, among other things, that Rawlings Sporting Goods made false and misleading statements about the ability of Rawlings Power Balance Products to provide certain benefits, according to the Rawlings Power Balance class action settlement notice.

The Rawlings Power Balance settlement class reportedly includes, unless otherwise excluded, all persons who, between March 1, 2010 and October 11, 2013, bought a Rawlings Power Balance Product in the U.S.  Rawlings Power Balance products covered by the settlement reportedly include Rawlings Power Balance bracelets, wristbands, necklaces, batting gloves, catcher’s equipment, and related apparel.

The Rawlings Power Balance Class Action Lawsuit Settlement will provide monetary recovery to settlement class members who file valid claims of up to 100% of the retail price for returned Rawlings Power Balance bracelets, if proof of purchase is provided (along with shipping costs of $2 a bracelet), or $16.5 for each Rawlings Power Balance bracelet (including shipping costs of $2 a bracelet) and $10 per item, with proof of purchase, for non-bracelets such as Rawlings Power Balance necklaces, Rawlings Power Balance batting gloves, Rawlings Power Balance catcher’s equipment, or other Rawlings Power Balance apparel.  Rawlings claim forms can be submitted online at http://rawl-pbsettlement.com/info/claim.
