A $90 million settlement has reportedly been reached in a class action lawsuit against PNC Bank (“PNC Bank” or “Defendant”) in federal court in Miami Florida (styled In re Checking Account Overdraft Litigation) alleging, among other things, that PNC Bank re-sequenced the order of PNC Bank customers’ debit card and ATM transactions, by posting them in highest-to-lowest dollar amount rather than in the order in which they were initiated by PNC Bank customers which allegedly resulted in PNC Bank customers being over charged for overdraft fees, according to a PNC Bank Overdraft Fee class action settlement news report.
