Who Is Included In The Pacific Bell Telephone AT&T California Late Fee Class Action Settlement?

The Pacific Bell AT&T California Late Fee settlement class reportedly includes, unless otherwise excluded, all persons with area codes in California and billing addresses in California who have received residential landline phone service from Pacific Bell d/b/a AT&T California or its affiliates pursuant to Pacific Bell’s California Residential Service Agreement or successor agreement and who paid one or more late payment charge imposed by Pacific Bell Telephone for service between July 15, 2009 and April 24, 2013.

What Settlement Benefits Does The Pacific Bell AT&T California Late Fee Class Action Settlement Provide?

The Pacific Bell AT&T California Late Fee class action settlement will reportedly provide for the creation of $15 million settlement fund to be distributed to, among others, current and former AT&T California customers.  Former customers are required to file claim forms which can be filed online at www.pbtclatefeesettlement.com/claimform.

Going forward for a certain period of time, Pacific Bell has also reportedly agreed to restrict the amount it will charge for late fees to no more than $1.25 plus two percent of bills over $30.
