A class action lawsuit was filed against Sony Computer Entertainment America in the U.S. District Court for the Norther District of California (styled Anthony Ventura v. Sony Computer Entertainment America Inc., Case No. 3:10-cv-01811-EMC) alleging that Sony released firmware v3.21 that disabled the “other OS” feature, disallowing users from installing the Linux operating system, according to a class action lawsuit news report.
