A class action lawsuit was filed against Countrywide Financial in the Superior Court of California (Ventura County) alleging that Countrywide Financial employees stole and sold tens of thousands, or millions of customers’ personal financial information, invading their privacy and exposing them to identity theft, according to a class action report.
