BP & ARCO Gas Station Frnachisees & am/pm Franchisees File Class Action Lawsuit Against BP & Retalix.

A class action lawsuit has been filed against BP West Coast Products LLC (” BP West Coast”) and BP Products North America, Inc. (“BP Products”), both subsidiaries of BP p.l.c. (collectivelly “BP”) and Retalix LTD (“Retalix”) (all collectively “Defendants”) in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California (styled Green Desert Oil Group Inc. et al. v. BP West Coast Products LLC et al., Class Action Case No. CV-11-2087) alleging, among other things, that BP required  BP & Arco Gas Station Franchisees & am/pm Convenience Store Franchisees to install a new centralized point of sale (“POS”) computer system developed by Retalix that was allegedly defective, that BP allegedly manipulated gas supply and pricing and allegedly improperly directed control and pricing by third-party vendors and allegedly forced the sale of items and collection of fees for which franchisees received no compensation, according to a BP & Arco Gas Station Franchisee & am/pm Convenience Store Franchisee class action lawsuit news report.
