McDonald’s Monopoly Game Stamp Class Action Lawsuit Complaint

Illinois Recipients Of McDonald’s Monopoly Game Stamps File Class Action Lawsuit Against McDonald’s Over Alleged Violation Of Written Disclosure Requirements.

A class action lawsuit has reportedly been filed against McDonald’s Corporation (“McDonald’s”), The Marketing Store Worldwide LLC and DDB Chicago, Inc. (collectively “Defendants”) in the Circuit court of the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit in Lake County Illinois (styled Michael Siegel v. McDonald’s Corporation, The Marketing Store Worldwide LLC and DDB Chicago, Inc., Class Action Case No. 11 CV 5519) alleging, among other things, that McDonald’s and the other defendants violated the Illinois Prizes and Gifts Act (“IPGA”) 815 ILCS 525/1 et seq., by failing to include required disclosures on the 2011 McDonald’s Monopoly game stamps, according to the McDonald’s Monopoly Game Stamp class action lawsuit complaint.

Plaintiff reportedly brought the McDonald’s Monopoly Game Stamp class action lawsuit complaint on behalf of himself and any and all persons or entities throughout the State of Illinois who, between September 27, 2011 and November 5, 2011, received a Monopoly game stamp that violated the written disclosures required by the Illinois Prizes and Gifts Act, 815 ILCS 525/25(2), (the “Class” or “Class Members”).
