A class action lawsuit has been filed against Google, Inc. (“Google”) and Slide, Inc. (“Slide”) (collectively “Defendants”) in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California (styled Bret L. Lusskin, Jr. v. Google, Inc. and Slide, Inc., Class Action Case No. 11-2585), alleging, among other things, that Google & Slide released a service called Disco on the internet at Disco.com that is a group texting tool that allegedly allows customers to send SMS text messages to large groups of people en masse using one cellular telephone number provided by Defendants and that Defendants allegedly sent text messages to consumers who did not want them, according to the Google & Slide Disco.com SMS Text Message class action lawsuit complaint.
The Google & Slide Disco.com SMS Text Messaging class action lawsuit complaint reportedly alleges, among other things, that Defendants sent group members text message advertisements for Disco’s service and mobile application, such as the following:

The Google & Slide Disco.com SMS Text Message class action lawsuit complaint is reportedly brought on behalf of the following putative class of persons, unless otherwise excluded:
All persons who (1) received a text message directly from the Disco group texting service that was not sent by a Disco group leader or another member of a Disco group; and (2) all persons who opted-out of a Disco texting group within twenty-four hours of receipt of an initiating text message or who was a member of a Disco texting group that was closed within twenty-four hours of its creation.

I did not purchase this app but all of a sudden received texts, texting leave, stop, quit does not work. I also deleted cookies, cache and history still no luck stoping it. I even went to a advertising site and cleared all the cookies in safari still no luck. Texts chime in at any hour day or night, I’m poising sleep. Help please
I signed up for the disco text and now my friends are getting text after text and it is driving them crazy. And they are driving me’ crazy!! They have tried texting leave and I have tried everything I can think of. Please help!!!
I have been recieving txts from Disco chat all day and I have NO IDEA how to stop the txts from coming! I’ve done everything. I don’t know where this came from but I’m very irritated by all of these unwanted messages!!!
