I agree with all of the above the ford f250 6l diesel is a pile of junk,I still owe thousands on the damn junker and have spent alot on repairs only to have had it towed home from the Ford dealer and of course they charged me repair fees ,and did not fix anything.
hey i bought a 05 6l 3 years ago with 40 miles on it bought for 24000 now truck is worth 0 i have replaed front and rear drive shafts 2 trannys egr oil cool turbo injectors twice cracked heads head studs high pressure oil pump ipr valve fcim rod and main bearings it never stops back in the shop every 2 weeks totally disscusted with this truck have bought it again in parts over three years and cant dump it cause it has no value not even ford dealers want it like wtf

our 6.0 ford 250 just got out of the shop again when running is a lovely drive,21 mpg and a lot of power. have already spent more than 10,000 dollars on it. this really is a piece of junk. have had the transmisson replaced,the entire top of motor is all new. hear about all these class action lawsuits but no one seems to know where to join. has anyone checked into the contacting the local attorney general? this really is a case of a lemon,ford seems to think that if they wait long enough[ignore it ] we will go away. no wonder they didn’t accept money from government,they had all that lovely Navistar money!
We are definitely going in the wrong direction when we have products like this hitting our streets,I have been swinging wrenches for 35 years and the newest engineering is atrocious, these people need to think a lot harder and keep it more simple.And the EPA And CARB Should be abolished they haven’t helped one bit.
last year bought my f350 4×4 and did not have any issues but i was curious why the proir owner traded in @98,000– the truck was great until the engine light started to come on.i have taken it back to the california dealer ship and was told $3500 for egr,egr cooler and have found that this is a common issue. this is a ford issue and customers should not be burdened with these know problems that ford knows about and playing the percentages and make us all ford loyal(?) to pay!any action taken please include me.
We have had the very same problem with our F250 4×4 and have friends with both 250/350 and excursions and every one of us has had to replace the EGR/EGR cooler and had issues with the turbo :0( I love our Ford trucks but this is a really crappy problem especially when you pay so much for a big diesel truck
We have 11 fords… two with the same problems as everyone, bad egr valves bad injectors,oil pumps,coolers, even had a bad fuel tank on one….between the two over $ 11.000.00 in repairs after the warranty ran out not including repairs that were made while they were still IN warranty, what a joke these two trucks are. wonder if the 6.4 engines will be called on next if so add two more of my trucks to the list with problems
I have a 2005 f250 6lL powerstroke – owned ford diesels since the 6.9s of the 80’s? since this 2005 POS had 102000 mi to now with 160,000 I have spent $8k, 6k, 5k, and it is in Prestige Ford in Garland Tx awaiting 4K worth of repair- total $23,000.00 all to the high pressure oil/cooler etc. Not to mention the hassle and other expenses! I kept thinking that after the each repair that is was finally fixed and couldn’t get any worse. Ford plays stupid when the are asked about it. I am mad and wonder if anyone has any legal contacts who have dealt with this?

I have a 2006 F350, I did all the EGR delete and oil cooler changes right after I bought the truck in 2013. The truck broke down on me in March this year, it cost me $8400.00 to replace head stud, heads, push rods, lifters, sensors, and oil pumps, plus labor. I found out that the push rods are actually to long and this is what caused the problems with a lifter coming apart and causing damage to my HPOP, front cover and sensors. If anyone has any information on how we can recoup at least some of our money please share. Thanks
I have a 2006 Ford F250 and had the EGR cooling system go out and was covered under warranty and that was at about 68000 mi! Then at 72000 mi it went out again plus head gassgets! Call up the dealer and they said that the reapar was only warrantyed for a year.. And by that time the factory warranty had ran out! I called ford motor company and they told me to take my truck to a ford dealership so they can diegnoce the problem and then they’ll contact me to tell me what they where willing to do! Now I know another person that had the se problem and he took his truck to the dealer and he said the truck sat there for quit a long time! I didn’t have that time to let my truck sit so I took it to someone that was highly recommended.. And had my truck fixed $6,020.00 head gassgets, EGR cooling system, ARPhead bolts! Now I herd of people getting there truck repaired through ford and had the same problems repeated and ford knows about this and still was selling these trucks! The problem is NAVSTAR used to thin of head bolts and within time they stretch then causing the head gassgets to blow and the EGR cooling system is not very good either!They make good replacement parts to fix these problems! It just sucks that I had to pay outa pocket! My understanding was that the truck being diesel would go to 300.000 to 400.000! To pay $50,000 for a truck and have problems like this is just not cool! I would like to join the class action law suit settlement.. Where do I go for that?

My Ford diesel truck was a lemon! I needed a dependable truck and from get go,it was just one thing after another! The list gos on and on! So count me in on the lawsuit. The money I spent trying to keep the truck running! it would be nice to get some of it back!

I have an 2003 F350 6.0 King Ranch Super Duty that has been nothing but a never ending expense. I have been left stranded a couple of times thousands of miles from home hauling horses and had huge bills to get home. I would love to be a part of this class action suit as well. Now I am told the head bolts need to be replaced and just that is another $3000.00 I have had more than enough. I also found out that the “leather” in my truck is HORSE HIDE!! I am very offended by this as well.
Purchased new 2006 F250, purpose to haul travel trailers. 29,000 miles later fuel injectors went out. Following summer June 2007 stranded again with high pressure oil pump went out. later in the fall when the warranty was up fuel injectors again went out leaving my husband stranded in Louisiana. Needles to say we were extremely upset both financially and emotionaly. Will be on board with this suit.

I had a 2005 f350 Ford 6.0L diesel I purchased from Fair Bluff Ford I had problems so I took the truck back several times (at least 5 times) they sent it to Lumberton NC & could not find the problem or repair it, they said they could not or would not repair it or find the problem.I was only forced the option of keeping it as it was with the problems or trading in for a new truck. But the truck was still under its warranty,plus i purchased an extended warranty. (the truck would cut off in the middle of the road or turns at The stoplights and caused us to be in danger of someone hitting me and my family or my crew.)the one that had problems was almost paid for. So I ended up trading for a 2008 new f350 truck I had to sell because the payments were outrageous. I don’t know if this case would help me or not but I ended up losing my down payment of $10,000.00, plus 24 months of $650.00 payments. the new truck was very costly & i sold it for what was owing so my credit could be saved. It was robbery & very unfair & i will never recommend fair bluff ford or purchase from there again.
Purchased a new 2005 F-350 6.0L diesel which I planned to tow our 5th wheel trailer which weighs in at 9800 lbs. While I knew I would keep the vehicle, I also purchased an extended warranty as well. First problems were minor; no cooling from AC which happened twice at roughly 9k and 10k miles. Then, while towing trailer, the FICM failed leaving us stranded and a costly tow bill. This occurred at 20k miles. At 30k the truck was spewing white smoke and I had the oil cooler, EGR cooler and valve replaced. As the truck approached 55k and the the extended warranty had expired, I decided to add an additional 4 year warranty but an inspection was required and the turbo was found deffective, several seals needed replacing and a solenoid to engage the four wheel drive was required. Grand total for repairs; $5600 at my expense. The truck is now almost 8 years old ( July 2013) and has a grand total of 62374 miles on it. A good majority of repairs were covered under warranty but if you add what I paid for the initial extended warranty ($2600) the repairs at my expense ($6200) and the second warranty ($1900) added to the original cost of the truck (almost 50k), I have paid about $1 per mile just for the truck that has less than 63k miles on it. Not what I call a good value!!

Another dissatisfied customer to be heard from now………..had a 2005 F250 6.0. 1st incident: turbo charger, w/ under 10000 mi, covered by warranty.
2nd incident: Lots of parts replaced: headbolts, gaskets, EGR valve,

We feel we are out close to $18000-$20000 total w/ being stuck in Fortuna CA for 10 days, (1st incident) 8 days Anacortes, WA(2nd incident) and in Coeur d’alene, ID (8days paying for lodging waiting for detailing of new truck. The final straw was in ID only 2 weeks after incident #2 and another repair of $690 for Turbo gasket was needed. That is why we finally gave up and bought new truck.. Had to buy a new truck, could no longer pull 5th wheel , had lost all faith in 2005 F 250 and took on another l;oan and interest . Are we glad to be in class action lawsuit? You bet!!!

Same thing as everyone else. We bought 2005 F-250, 6.0L truck with 67,000 miles on it. We are still driving our old ’97 F-250, 7.3L, which has had to pull the trailer to rescue us in the 2005 several times. We have over 430,000 miles on the old truck without ever having to touch anything on that engine yet. The new one has had all 8 injectors, plus 1 a second time replaced, the egr valve & cooler, oil cooler, replaced, all of those, before, or right after the 100,000 mile mark. Now the turbo blew a couple of days ago. I think we’ll have at least $9,000 in repairs so far. How do we sign up for the class action suit. I am so disappointed in Ford. I would never recomend another Ford diesel to anyone, and we have always driven Fords.
Own 2004 6.0 have injector problems cane smell antifreeze comeing from tank witch means head gasket leaking . The truck has 90,756 miles on it ! Just a matter of time be for it leaves me on the side of the road ! Where the help from Ford or the Law suit ?
If you had a Ford why haven’t you seen paper work on that suit? We got one…..in the fine print the attorney’s stand to make around $15,000,000.00!! Yes million!! for expenses (?) It looks like the plaintiffs will SPLIT approximately $150,000.00 (YES, One Hundred Fifty Thousand) among the “NAMED PLAINTIFFS”!! IF that is the case, I want no part of it! Attorneys such as these are criminal and the court is disgusting for allowing this to occur!!! A little common sense goes a VERY long way! Not much of that any more!!
I believe you are reading something wrong in the papers.
I read where, if it is awarded, each party will receive so much reimbursement for every repair listed in the suit that can be proven with a receipt.
And as far as the attorneys, I know for a fact, that the main firm, along with several other firms that joined after the suit started, have been working on this law suit for about three years using thier money for every single penny put into this suit…and if nothing is awarded…then they are out an awful lot of money. If they stand to make 15 mil, it’s not like one atty will get it, it’s a lot of attys from several firms that have been bearing this expense for a long time.

Have all the same problems as almost everyone it started at 9000 miles with the cac sleeve on the turbo the truck has 92000 miles on it and about 10500 in out of pocket repairs, the lemmon law was not allowed because I had three repairs done by ford and the last one done by a independent repair shop spent 56000 on this thing when it was new thanks to the sob who stole my 7.3 wish I would have bought a chevy or dodge.

I bought my 6.0 2006 Ford F250 Diesel Truck last May. It had low miles and was in mint condition. Now I know why. The truck has issues. I have had my truck in the shop now atleast 2 times since I bought it and now about to go in for the 3rd time. The first time it cost me over 1300.00 and now this week it will cost me another 1000.00 plus taxes etc. I’m really sick of Ford not standing behind this truck. Its probaly the best looking trucks on the road but mechanicaly its not.

Now all head jaskets are blown out and had to replace egr oil cooler and fuel injector icp sensor spent another $8,500. What kind of heav duty truck is this? I can’t keep on replacing.
I need help not only is my 2006 F 350 a lemon the brakes and calipers are off of a F 250 it came from the factory like this. A ford servise manager told me this info about my brakes then said I dont know how the wrong brake system got put on. The only way that I will get a new Ford is if I get one for free. I sure wont buy one.
I have a 2003 vt 365 Navistar and it has been nothing but trouble, injectors, egr, oil pump just to mention a few. It is costing me a lot just to keep it running, but I have to keep working. Now it just cut off when I come out of gear when slowing down. I just do know what this is going to cost!!!!

I am very very happy that I found all of this, I owned a 7.3, and i kick myself in the butt every time i think about it for selling it. I recently purchased a 6.0 and i went ahead and put on the EGR delete, but i did that for a preventative measure. I am still afraid of the thing just flat out breaking down and me be crap out of luck, but i feel if we all are persistant about this, I hope that something will happen soon, they should at least buy the trucks back or fix them at no cost what so ever, and make them right!
2005 F-350 EGR value and EGR cooler and oil cooler replacement in November 2011 @$2,952.00 out of pocket cost. Other prior warranty issues including FICM and turbo replacements all before 60,000 miles. What is next? Ford needs to purchase these trucks back from customers…..lets see.. estimated 1,500,000 trucks at average $45,000 ea.= $67,500,000,000. Just overloaded my calculator!
We received information on the proposed lawsuit. What the lawsuit is willing to give is $750 for a turbocharger. That doesn’t seem to be high enough to cover the costs. We have to decide by April 24, 2013. It seems that FORD is getting away with not taking responsibility. It also states in the lawsuit, that FORD is not taking fault, but they are going to pay a little amount.
We bought our 2005 F350 Powerstroke 6.0 diesel new. No problems for the whopping 47,000 miles we’ve put on it, then it started blowing a ton of white smoke. Luckily a neighbor and friend is a Ford diesel owner and came over to give some advice. We had it towed to the best Powerstroke place in Alaska who gave us the grand news that the issue was part of the known 6 litre head gasket problem which Ford is now turning a blind eye to. So now we’re facing at least an 8,000 repair bill with absolutely no recourse from Ford. I would love to join in any way possible to make them responsible for this issue.
2005 F250 bought brand new in May 2005 with 32 miles on it. As of April 2012 the truck went in for repairs 16 times. 8 egr coolers, oil pump, water pump, every injector most twice, 4 coolant reservoirs, 3 alternators, head gaskets, batteries lasted average 16 months, radiator, oil coolers, death wobble and few other things that im sure I cant remember. It finally caught on fire at the steering column March 6, 2013 and was a total loss. SIGN ME UP!

The settlement offer is a joke and about to be approved in May 2013!!!
Call for and ask how much it costs to purchase a turbo for one of these lemons, without labor to install. The proposed settlement amounts do not cover half the cost of the part without labor. The lawyers and Ford are once again making out at the cost of the average person. Fractional reimbursement for decreased resale value and continual repairs is nothing for the people that got cheated through the false advertising from ford. Write to the administrators and court to reject the proposed settlement.

I have a 2005 F-350 Diesel Pickup. At 15,023 miles, i had my first issue with the diesel motor. While climbing a hill the Turbo hose blew off the connections, put a dent in the hood and had to be replaced. $572 later, i learn that Ford has a new part number for this hose (meaning it has problems). Ford said my truck was out of warranty!
At 16,231 Miles my F-350 Diesel had Turbo failure. The Turbo and VGT had to be replaced costing $2,482.58. Ford claimed that the failure is my fault because i have not used this truck frequently enough. I don’t rememeber that being in the manual.
Even though my warranty ran out by time, i have rediculously low miles on the truck and you would think that Ford would stand behind thier inferior engine.

Travis, That’s what my 2005 F350 did and they had to replace the Turbo and VGT. They said the fins weren’t working right and blamed it on the low mileage.
21, 000 plus in repairs almost all motor related and possible head gasket issue again. It should be illegal to sell these trucks or at the least dealers be held accountable if they are going to sell a truck knowing the problems. They should have a big warning sign as soon as you walk in .

I am going through the storys on here now, my 05 F350 has been a good truck til this trip, it has 80,000 miles on it, owned it since new, but that seems to be the miles on here when the problems start, My truck is in the shop and I have no idea what is the problems and cost as of yet, I’ve already heard the turbo, EGR Coolant and who knows what else, I do have a question and would appreciate any input, Once Ford has worked on your truck, is it updated with the right part and problems solved or is it a problem that can’t be fixed, Thanks for any help!
In 2005 I purchased an E-450 diesel truck, couple day’s after with only 175 miles, I started having problems to date have spent several thousand of dollars without a fix. The dealers have done nothing other than sponge off of me. Hopefully this Law Suit will bring the damages back. I have been a Ford person for years, in 2008 I bought an Explorer this was the second Ford with problems sadly it was the last. I will not buy a Ford again.
I purchased the 2008 F450 new. At 1100 miles my trouble started with 2 turbos blown. We now have under 32,000 miles on the original engine and have replaced the radiator, blower, bearings, the dash is sticky(they have never seen this before, sure..), and now the thing is leaking fuel from the back of the engine. At the dealership now and they have to take the cab off AGAIN to even see what is wrong! They have now called and the grand total now is $ 1812.00 Of coarse our 5 yr warranty is out so we get the pleasure of paying this one. No help from Ford even though we have always owned Fords since our first cars at age 16 and now going on 62. They acted offended when talking to them about the pour design by them to have to take the cab off to work on the engine and then have the nerve to charge the customer for this mistake. After getting this out of the shop again I will try to trade for something that will pull my toy hauler and be dependable, something that Ford has no idea of what that means. I will never buy another Ford in my lifetime and will certainly do my homework on my next purchase. Never thought I would switch but the new Dodge dully does looks sharp! Have 2006 f250 with 6.0 eng. hav new turbo charger installed on 23mar13. on 26 march truck broke down on I 35 Pauls Valley Qk. As of today in shop Pauls Vally ,Ok est cost of repairs $2400.00. Turbo cost $2100.00. I pull 38 ft. fifth wheel. MY faith in the truck not good.
I bought a Ford 450 truck with the 6.0 engine that is also in the F350. The engine is defective and FORD sued the original engine maker for $452 million. FORD failed to replace the defective engine, it failed and it cost me $4000 fro a partial replacement. So far I am out of pocket for $10,000 pulse in repairs and I had the extended warranty coverage. The FORD broke down 7 times in 3 years all requiring major and expensive repair. Three radiators, a gas tank defective from paint peeling and leaking, four turbo charger blow outs due to defective connections and mount shift, one transmission replacement an engine rebuild due to a known defective crank shaft and now a leak costing $1000 for the latest repair, end result I missed payments to cover the repairs and now FORD HAS SUBMITTED BAD CREDIT REPORTS. I HAVE RECENTLY JOINED IN A CLASS ACTION SUIT AGAINST FORD AND WILL BE INITIATING A SEPARATE SUITE SHORTLY in Utah and CA FOR A CONSUMER FRAUD ISSUE. I have a 2004 Ford F350 6.0 Diesel, 82,300 miles. I’m in CA and would join in a suit with you. I believe the current class action lawsuit does nothing to correct the problem. Nor does it help in the past cost or the costs to come for repairs on the 6.0 diesel engine. Not only is my truck not running right now, blown head gasket, my buddy just had the turbo in his replaced and another friend has an 05 with a cracked head. I love the truck, just not the engine. Ford knows they produced a terrible engine and should stand behind it. The problem is that it will bankrupt Ford if they continue to fix the problems. Same thing with Remington 700 guns. They have an issue with the rifle and the part, if replaced in all Remington 700’s, would bankrupt the company. So they just leave it. Ford can offer a solution to either continue to fix the problems, free of charge, or they can replace all of the engines with a Cummings diesel engine. There is a kit to make the conversion applicable. This cost is $12,000.00 – $17,000.00. It would be cheaper for Ford to do this. Or they could buy the trucks back for the same price.
I own a ford f350 6.0 power stroke 03 driving down the highway it cuts off wouldn’t start I had it towed find the high pressure oil pump went bad I had to replace the high pressure sensors also the week before this happen I knew I was taken a trip so I had the fuel filters change , oil and filter also never gave me a warning just stop on the highway I had to coast to the side of the road…….
I had to wait on the road to be towed back home our trip was over the next day I had to pay to be towed to a diesel shop I had to pay for e g r,high pressure oil pump, high pressure oil pump sensors, gaskets and labor I want my money back our trip with hotel was ruined!!!!!!!!!
Yes I do have a 2003 Excursion with a 6.0 with only 76000 miles the reason, this vehicle is allways in the shop been fix I had it since new and yes I had all of the above problems, how can I be part of the lawsuit. Thank you….HERNAN
the lawsuit againts ford motor company was held on the 22nd of this month,for some “reason” the attorneys ARE NOT taking new clients?? hummm making me wonder why ? anybody knows or have any leads on the results of the class action? I kknow ford is offering some ridiculos low compensation when I have well over $12500 in repair bills

I had a 2001 Ford Excursion and Traded it in with Engine issues but that was a 7.3 Liter Diesel.
I Now have a 2005-6 One of the Last Ford Diesel Excursions they Made with the 6.0 liter Turbo Diesel, and it had a Blown Motor at 54,000 Miles they replaced the Heads, Valves, Injectors etc,,, and Cost me like a $800 to $1000 for repairs plus a rental car. Now this Same Vehicle at 150,000 miles was brought to FORD in JANUARY and I just Got it Back APRIL 30th and they had to Replace the entire Long Block and everything associated with it along with sensors, Valves, two main Computer Modules, Cost of about $20,000.00 yes that’s correct TWENTY THOUSAND Dollars and NOT a PENNY Covered or Honored by FORD. Plus a Rental Car. And to stick it to me even better I have a FORD Owner Advantage Card with the Dealers Name on it that did the repairs you are supposed to Earn Oil Changes and Like 5% Cash Credit on Total and applied for future Service , When I Paid the Bill they said oh were not part of that Ford Program any longer ?? I will be contacting a lawyer that’s like $1000.00 Credit I expected to apply to Future service and repairs …
If you have one of these Diesels keep in mind any and all Engine Repairs ONLY come with a Limited One Year / 12,000 mile warranty However If you Replace The Motor completely as I did it will at least come with a 3 YEAR Unlimited Mileage warranty, the drawback they can only put the Same motor you had in it ie I had a 6.0 and wanted to just put the NEW 6.7 in , Can not be done , So I know I have a Brand New Motor which is almost likely to Fail at somepoint after 60,000 on it , LOL
Same issues as most above. 2006 f350 fx4 crew cab. Wonderfully truck, except for the fact that I can’t pull my trailer now because I see the engine oil temp climbing to very high temps. Scared of hurting the engine and egr valve,etc. have spent lots of money on keeping oil,coolant,fuel, filters clean and fresh but looking like the oil cooler is plugged up or just flat failing to cool oil. I am 2nd owner of the truck, purchased it used with only 60k miles, it now has 70k miles and lots of out of pocket expenses, and now it’s time for more just to keep it going. I NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING FROM REGARDING THE CLASS ACTION SUIT AND NEED TO KNOW WHAT STEPS TO TAKE TO GET PAPERS PLEASE. Not sure if the dealership I purchased the truck from received the papers and did not follow thru and get them to me or if prev owner received them. Either way, I have the truck with all these issues and a lot of out of pocket expenses with a lot more needed and no help from ford, dealership,etc. I have been diehard Chevy guy all my life, then decided to switch to ford for a bigger heavy duty truck to pull our trailer, and ranch work, hoping this truck would last a longtime, at this point I think I should have stayed Chevy. I WILL SAY I AM REALLY GLAD I SPENT THE MONEY ON A EDGE PROGRAMER FOR THE DIGITAL DISPLAY TO MONITER THE ENGINE, BECAUSE IF NOT I WOULD HAVE NEVER SEEN THE OIL TEMPS CLIMBING TO A DAMAGING TEMP. YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO MONITER THE ENGINE WITH THE STOCK FACTORY GAUGES IN THE DASH… THEY SHOW ALL TEMPS AT A NORMAL TEMP WHEN IN REALI THEY ARE NOT… NOT TO COOL OF FORD TO ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN AND KNOW ABOUT IT, AND NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT.
Lots of the same problems with our 2006 F350 6.0 …. frustration and costly! I don’t see an actual “list” to sign for a class action lawsuit. Is there one or just a place to vent our frustrations?
Certainly has been a complete nightmare with my 6.0 2005 f350, with 72k for miles. A totally unreliable company vehicle. In 2011 a total of $7500.00 replace turbo, fuel injectors, fuel pump. And now this year it is using a gallon of coolant per day and at times more depending how much it is driving. Now with this ega coolant system problem I have given up on Fords. I currently owe a F150, A mustang, 2 F350…I waiting to see how well ford will be treating me as a long time ford buyer
I recently broke down on interstate tow it to ford dealer 2005 ford f250 king ranch ford said egr sometime was the problem blown engine hypr lock need new engine cost $14,000.00 I have a warranty on it but did not cover this repair U make sure when getting warranty everything is cover before this happen to u no coveage that u been paying for over a year but not cover under this plan.About a year ago I had a problem with fuild leak coming in from my ac vent ford repaired problem but now everytime I turn on my ac it blow a fuse And I see smoke from my steering wheel, no ac & a know egr problem no running truck. I have an ’06. Spent over 10,000 of My money since 06 to keep this thing running. Oil cooler, EGR cooler, EGR valves, FICM, Turbos, injectors, Head Gaskets, HPOP (High Pressure Oil Pump) I still have it. Cant sell it. Nobody wants these 8,000 lbs paper wieghts

I have had numerous problems with my 2006 F-250 diesel. Just received a $4,500 repair bill. The turbo seized up along with various other issues. Prior to this I have had EGR cooler issues ect.
How do we join in on this lawsuit. To date I have paid roughly $8,000 not to mention lost income do to my work truck being down.
Please someone tell me is the lawsuit filed because I want to go to the Supreme Court. This is bullshit no one should go through this much trouble with a truck.

Ford F 250 powerstroke 6.0 diesel EGR cooling system just went out. at 80000K filed a complaint with Ford Motor corp. All that said was they would keep my info on record. They do not claim it is defective or that there are any issues with this system I want them to pay for the truck to be fixed.
To correct the mileage it is 80K….
We broke down outside of Laramie while returning from my mother’s funeral. Wyoming was -15 degrees. We had to stay in a hotel and the Ford dealership replaced one cylinder. We didn’t make it to Rawlins before it lost power again. The Rawlins dealership didn’t have time to deal with the issue for a week, so we limped along until we were within the 100 mile tow radius for AAA to get us to Rock Springs. We rented a car and after a week, picked up the defective truck. When we returned home, we were told we needed to replace all 6 cylinders. This cost was in the thousands and we’d love to have some compensation.
03 F250 6.0 with 86k blew the engine. A fourty thousand dollar truck and didnt make it to see 100k miles WTF. Ford has got to pay Im sure the excutives didnt mind raking in the profits & their laughing all the way to the bank.
Just got back from taking my F350 Dually to the shop, not sure what’s wrong with it. It only has 77813 mile on it and it blowing white smoke/steam out the tailpipe. I’m not a mechanic but I believe it a blown EGR cooler and Head Gasket there is water in the engine oil. Can’t wait to see how many thousands this is going to cost me. It seems that Ford knows about all these problems but fail to correct them. A friend told me about a company called Bullet Proof and said that I can purchase kits to fix all of these problems for about $4600.00 what a deal that’s if I do the work myself.
I would like to be a part of any type of lawsuit against Ford….. I have a 2004 f350 that has been nothing but a money pit ….. Dealer costs are so outrageous that I can’t afford to drive this piece of crap any more!!!!!
Tomorrow ill have to take it to my local Ford dealer to see what’s wrong with it this time. I’ve replaced everything that everyone else has and still have to take it in for another repair that isn’t covered by Ford!!!!

I traded a 2002 gas burner for a used 2006 F-250 with the 6.0 Navistar engine, 29K miles still under warranty, thought I’d be ok (I was $1300 upside down on the gas burner (not bad), I thought, I kept the 2006 truck a total of 10 weeks of which Ford dealership had it 6 of the 10 weeks – They put a new engine, a new computer, a new trubo and mulitple other repairs — still wouldn’t run right. They finally traded me out of the 2006 into a new 2007, and made me $10,000 upside down on that trade(10 weeks & $10 uoside down???) I had to have a heavy duty truck so left me no option. I have had the 2007 now almost 7 years — but scared to death to drive it because od all the problems friends have had, it only has 74K miles — had a sensor go bad(still under warranty then) so ok — this week the 2nd fuel pump (not the one in the tank, the one on the frame) I’m scared to death my problems are just beginning — Not what you expect from a $50K vehicle. Paid $50K, almost paid off now, and I am scared to death everytime I drive it I’m gonna be looking at the problems everyone else is having. I would like to be included in this class action law suit — even though I haven’t had that many problems with the 2007 — still lost $10K on the 2006 and wondering what the future holds for the 2007. Scared to death everytime I crawl under the steering wheel — HELP — Ford made a killing on these vehicles, especially after hearing they sued Navistar and got all that money, they should take care of their customers. I and my entire family have been FORD LOYAL for as long as I can remember, I will never buy another and am looking to Dodge and Chevy now — FORD buy back all these vehicles or replace with a dependable like kind at now additional charge.
Looking through all the class action lawsuits for Ford 6.0L the last one I looked at I did not qualify for because my egr/oil cooler blowing at 58,000 miles was 18 day over the 5 year warranty, now I am at 100,000 miles and Ford dealer diagnosed my truck with the same problem, but are confident I have a blown head gasket as well. Any money I can recuperate from Ford I’m all in please count me in on this lawsuit. Even my tires last set of tires I got 6ok out of them, major engine component should not need to be replaced every 50k miles.
Man I can agree with all other complainants . We have spent thousands of dollars on repairs and wasted years of down time while it was being repaired. If anyone can help we will be ecstatic. I have been a FORD man my whole life but I will never buy another . From fuel tank to engine we have repaired all!

I have had 2 F-350’s a 94 and a 97 both had 7.3’s in them. didn’t have to repair a thing. now I have an 05 Excursion with a 6.0 litre in it. the injectors went on it as did the high pressure oil cooler. did the EGR delete when the egr cooler was leaking. $8300.00CDN. The truck itself is excellent but I’m not impressed with the 6.0.
I’ve had 2 F-350’s, ’94,’97 both with 7.3’s in them so impressed with the 7.3 I now have an 05 Excursion with a 6.0L. $8300.00Cdn for new injectors, high pressure oil cooler and EGR delete. I’d like to get my 7.3’s in my excursion. sign me up as well
My 2003–needs new injectors-FICM-EGR etc same other problems as the rest–what a rippoff–this can kill a familys budget and you cant get rid of it. Just stuck with it. I now drive my old 1986 and it keeps ticking
I bought my truck from Santa Maria Ford and after owning it a month had to have put on a flat bed and taken back to the dealer because it wouldn’t start.I have had the egr valve cooler the turbo twice and now I have a oil cooler that is bad and the warrenty company wont cover it.When iapproached the general manager at Santa Maria ford with all the problems his reply was I should of bought a truck somewhere else.This is the biggest piece of shit I have ever owned
I had a 2005 HD Turbo Diesel 250. From the first day I drove it from the lot, I had turbo problems. On a trip pulling my 5th wheel, The oil cooler went out and the egr valves defected. This vehicle has cost me out of pocked over $11000.00 in repairs. My wife put yellow tape all over the truck with it saying LEMON. We had many comments from other ford owners about the problems they were having or had with the 6.0 L diesel.
I have a 2007 f550 and I am wondering how I proceed with this settlement as I live in Ontario. This vehicle is on the back of a tow truck more than driving down the road.

How are we going to know if and when this would affect us if we never received a notice ?
Being the owner we are registered with the State of MN, they (lawyers) should have this info. Now it’s too late to file, according to the info I just looked up. We should be allowed to enter suit no matter what the time frame.LAWYERS, email me if you want but I know you won’t.

I own a 2004 f-350 with a 6.0 powerstroke last summer my egr/egr cooler and my turbo all went out at one time. We’ll the turbo didn’t go out but when we disassembled the engine we found the fan in the turbo had chunks out of it and needed replaced. Larry Miller ford service quoted me $4200.00 to make repairs and that is without knowing the turbo was bad. Larry Miller service told me that they have had lots of problems with these parts but didn’t offer to help or let me know anything about the class action lawsuit. Now my truck is acting up again and Larry Miller diagnosed it as the #6 injector is bad which will cost aproximatly $2000.00 to replace all 4 injectors on that side of the engine. This is also part of the lawsuit. I don’t know if there is anything I could do for help with these items because I’m sure the other 4 injectors will be next. I have a after market warenty but don’t seem to cover nothing even though I paid about $3000.00 for it. So if anybody knows which way to turn I would greatly appreciat it.

I am going to retire from my regular job in a year, I was planning on hauling Campers out west so I bought a Ford F-450 6.0 figuring this would do the job, I would have a year to get it in shape for what I wanted to do, I drove it off the lot and a mile down the road the engine light came on, used truck no warranty, I take it back and the tranmission is out, I have paid for this out of my pocket, now the truck wont start, I take it to a mechanic who I know well and he starts on the list of what this truck is going to need, does not even want to work on it because he said he will put over $10,000.00 in it and I will still be lucky if I make it across the county in it, I did not think Ford would ever let somthing like this out on the market, I was wrong and do not know what to do with it now, Have all my money invested in it and cannot afford to do this. I wished I would have done my homework before I bought this truck, at my current job I have a 97 Ford F350 7.3 it has been a great truck, thats why I bought the 450 guess I was wrong in doing this. I had heard of some problems Ford was having with trucks and the Dealer told me this was in the earlier trucks, wrong. he lied. now I am stuck and embarrissed. count me in.

We got my son a 2006 f350 6.0 powerstoke Aug. 2013. From what I remember, we first had to repair the turbo or FICM. Then the egr cooler, and the oil cooler. Then a couple of months ago he had to charge $5500 or $6000 on a credit card to pay Diesel Dynamics for installing new head gaskets, replacing the head bolts with studs and to repair or replace the turbo. It seems that he had his truck back for less than a week and it stalled on the exit ramp of a freeway while he was trying to get off because he knew something was wrong. It was towed back to the shop and they said that the motor was bad. From what I recall, the shop claimed that the motor was somehow just falling apart. We were shocked and didn’t really believe them. We thought that they just wanted more money and wanted money to replace the engine. I don’t recall what was done, I think that may have been when they actually rebuilt the turbo, but they got the truck back to running and we thought that everything was great. A day or so later my son was on the freeway in Dallas, Tx and it just stalled. This time he was able to coast to the side of the road. He towed it back to the shop and paid another $350 or so for towing and for them to tell him that the engine was totally gone. He bought a used 6.0 engine and it was installed this week by a different person and not Diesel Dynamics. He couldn’t afford to pay another $5-$6k or even what it’s costing. He couldn’t afford it before and that’s why he had to use a credit card. It is now running, but he hasn’t gotten it back yet because it still has a problem. Once again he is being told that his turbo is bad and he has to do something about that. My son just turned 20 June 8th and we thought that this truck would last him until he wanted something else or at least until he would have a good job and be able to buy one. This has severely hindered the start of this mans life. This is enough to cripple someone that has a good start on their life. I know that it has kept me and my parents busy! The only thing this Ford truck has done is to show me how competent and strong my awesome son is. To bad that these trucks were built to handle the stress that they have caused him and our family. These Ford trucks can dish it out, but they sure can’t handle the basic duty of being able to actually drive down the road! I understand that Ford is in the business to make money, but they will not make a dime off of me. I will spend my money on a foreign vehicle before I purchase a vehicle from them. It’s like you are constantly paying them to drive. You may have the vehicle, but you may never be able to pay enough to actually keep it on the road. It seems to be like a collectors item that only displays and reminds you of how in debt you are because of it. It’s a big item that you can’t just hide and you have so much invested into it that you can’t get rid of it because you can’t get back near what you have invested into it. Even though you thought that this vehicle was something other than what it actually was (maybe that’s what is so sickening), you end up with a sick feeling and somehow it makes you feel embarrassed and somehow stupid for ever buying it when you can’t help but see the big beast sitting in your yard. We thought that it’s red color was so pretty, but now it’s just a big red beast or maybe a big red turd that somehow suck money and time out of everyone around! I am a 39 year old mother of 4 boys and mothers day weekend I myself pulled the starter off of it trying help my dad to see if that was an issue because of the way it wouldn’t start. Grr……. This vehicle may be possessed or somehow programmed into sucking the life out of a person and their family!!!! It continues to take whatever you will give it lol. It’s always thirty and hungry and Im not sure if you can ever do enough to make up for the malnourished hunk of junk that Ford has created!! I defended Ford my entire life and even through the 3.0 or 3.8 head gasket failure that I constantly experienced on my 95 windstar , but not anymore. This was the beginning of my childs adult life.

We bought a 2005 F-350 diesel dually – thought a brand new truck would be the way to go to pull our fifth wheel around the country after our retirement.
We thought it would last 300K miles. After excellent maintenance, oil changes every 3 to 5 thousand miles since we pull a 40 foot fifth wheel, we received almost $3000 in repair bills and will have to pay another $5000 to $6000 to fix what is currently wrong with the engine — and repair it with the same defective part that WILL go bad again. All this and less than 85K miles on the truck!
Is it too late to sign up and if so, how do we start a new one?
Same issues just turned 60k and cost me $7200 out of pocket. Cracked cylinders, blown head gasket, failed egr and oil cooler and the turbo is toast. If there is anyway to get some help for this PLEASE let me know. We have a 2012 F250 Super duty, and had a problem 6 months ago, that was misdiagnosed at dealership repair. Now, we have it in the shop with a bad high pressure fuel pump that came apart and contaminated the entire system with metal shavings. We were told IF the parts are not on back order it would be a week. After reading about it, it is not just this year, this model, or this brand, it seems to be Bosch parts. Have a lot of investigating to do. First stop is NHTB to file a report.

I have an 06 F550 with all the known issues. I paid thousands for this truck new & paid thousands more to repair it at 51,000 miles & now at 60,000 more major issues. Ford should fix these problems in my opinion. Please include me in any further proceedings. Thanks.
2006 F-250 6.0 diesel 41.847 miles turbo had to be replaced .
I have a 2006 F-550 6.0. Put $8,000.00 into repairs at a Ford Dealer at 145,000 miles. Put $2,800.00 into it at 165,000 miles with another Ford dealer. Now @ 180,000 I’m being told after spending $2,300.00 that my truck needs a new engine at a cost of $15,000.00.
I called Ford and the response was so sorry for YOUR problems with your truck, but Ford will not help other than help me finance a new truck at the cost of $78,000.00.
This is not right! Ford sold a truck with a bad engine and will not stand behind their product. I now have a expedition, explorer and a f-350 and at 62 I have had countless fords. I don’t understand why ford cannot do what is right.
