Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (“Freddie Mac”) Foreclosure Sale Title Insurance Class Action Lawsuit Complaint

Freddie Mac Foreclosure Real Estate Purchasers File Class Action Lawsuit Complaint Against Freddie Mac Over Owner’s Title Insurance.

A class action lawsuit has been filed against Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (“Freddie Mac” or “Defendant”) in the Worchester Superior Court in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (styled Rebecca Urban v. Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation, Class Action Case No. 11-0686), alleging, among other things, that Freddie Mac promises in an Addendum to a purchase and sale agreement to pay purchasers of real estate in foreclosure a policy of owner’s title insurance if the buyer agrees to use the title insurance company utilized by Freddie Mac’s attorney or agent, but that Freddie Mac allegedly refuses to honor this promise, according to the Freddie Mac foreclosure purchaser title insurance class action lawsuit complaint.

The Freddie Mac foreclosure buyer title insurance class action lawsuit complaint is reportedly brought on behalf of a putative class of persons, as follows, unless otherwise excluded:

All persons who purchased Massachusetts real estate from Freddie Mac subject to the Addendum attached to the Complaint as Exhibit 1 or an addendum substantially similiar.

Have you seen this lawsuit/complaint? Freddie Mac is promising to pay for title insurance to purchasers of foreclosed properties and then reneging on paying for it. They have a lot of property they can’t get rid of because the property has serious title problems.

does a Summons and Complaint for Damages need to personally be served. Also will this complaint stop an eviction?

Freddie Mac also breached on our contract to purchase a foreclosure in Mississippi. Once the contract was signed, they said they refused to pay for title work or insurance. This was a foreclosure via Wells Fargo. Must be a nationwide problem.

Federal Home Loan Mortgage corp. is a federal corporation who is purchasing properties through foreclosure and any tenant having a lease they are illigally evicting, they are breaching contracts and they are filing unlawful detainer actions in state court in order to dispense of the tenant and or lease holders… The District Court has jurisdiction over all federal agencies, but Freddie Mac is cutting corners and all these tenants are being forced out. Law firms who are representing Freddie Mac are knowing making money off the backs of these individuals being evicted from these properties, they are falsifying documents and the state court is being over whelmed with all these unlawful detainer action that are under the District Court Jurisdiction. When will they be stopped.
