A class action lawsuit has reportedly been filed against Daimler AG (“Daimler”), Mercedes-Benz, Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC and Mercedes-AMG GMBH (“Mercedes-Benz”) (collectively Defendants”) in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey (styled Cedric Chan v. Daimler AG, Mercedes-Benz, Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC and Mercedes-AMG GMBH), alleging, among other things, that Daimler and Mercedes-Benz designed, manufactured, marketed distributed and/or sold Mercedes-Benz vehicles equipped with AMG M156 6.2 liter V8 engines in the AMG vehicle line in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 model years that allegedly contain a defect in the engine that may result in premature engine wear, potentially causing major engine damage and possible total engine failure, according to the Daimler & Mercedes-Benz AMG M156 6.2 Liter V8 Engine class action lawsuit complaint.

All current and former owners and lessees of 2006-2011 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG, E63 AMG, S63 AMG, CL63 AMG, CLS63 AMG, ML63 AMG, CLK63 AMG, R63 AMG, and SL63 AMG models equipped with AMG M156 6.2 liter V8 engines that were sold or leased in California.

    I have a 2007 E350 camshaft balancing is no good gears wearing with only 166, thousand miles, the shop told me the part are no good and it’s happening in a lot of vehicles with that same engine
