I purchased 5 or 6 discontinued bags from a guy and paid by check to make sure I was following the law and would have a record. Now Coach for the past year has caused me so much stress, trying to take away everything I own. I am 61 years old own a tanning salon, which mostly carries bags like latico and various bags of no name. They have caused me to have several mini strokes from stress, and the cost of legal fees. They have went into my whole life from childhood, my assets, since I graduated, put me through a 6 hour deposition. The ecomony is bad enough, and any money I have is spent on legal fees, when anone else they just took the bags and made them stop, I had not one warning nor did they talk with me, only filed a huge pack of papers suing me the landlord and anyone they could attach, they just ran up a bill for coach without talking to me for one minute, this is un-fair when I hear they take the bags off vendors but with me they will not stop, it has destroyed my business because of the stress they are causing me, I would like some advise. I also have a daughter who is on chemo with 5 children that I have to raise because her husband died…..

I’m being summoned by Coached because a well know designer has been selling a similar bag to their Boxer style. I bought my bags from a distributor of the designer and I only sold 2 bags without off course knowing. My profit over about 18 months is about $65. The designer is being sued, however, the distributor and many other online sellers like me are not.

My business is not in California where the Federal law suit was filed. Therefore, It will cost me $700-$800 per hour to hire 2 attorneys one in my state and another in CA. I will be out of business after only a couple of days of litigation over $65.

How does any judge allow such money sucker lawyers to get away with this. With a little research I found Coach had filed more than 460 law suits since 2009. That’s about an average 1 law suit every other day including weekends and holidays. Are there really that many people making a living out of just coach? Is coach making that much profit? Or is it just a publicity stunt? I have miss spelled coach with a small c on purpose because they don’t deserve the recognition they get.

Every one wants justice, however, did I violate or harm their reputation to a point to lose my business over $65 ? Absolutely not. No one can inspect every bag they sell if it could be similar in style to all the bags produced every months?

    To be continued…
