The U.S. Supreme Court Denies Pfizer Pharmacia’s Petition For Writ of Certiorari In Celebrex Securities Class Action Lawsuit

The Supreme Court of the United States issued an order in the Pfizer Pharmacia Celebrex securities class action lawsuit denying Pharmacia’s petition for a writ of certiorari.

The plaintiffs in the Pfizer Pharmacia Celebrex securities class action lawsuit brought a class action securities fraud lawsuit reportedly alleging that Pharmacia, which Pfizer now owns, withheld results of a study showing Celebrex offered no safety advantages over less expensive medications.  Pfizer had reportedly argued that investors’ class action claims were untimely and barred by the two-year statute of limitations.
