Juniper Networks Securities Class Action Lawsuit Complaint

Juniper Networks JNPR Common Stock Purchasers File Securities Fraud Class Action Lawsuit Complaint Against Juniper Networks.

A class action lawsuit complaint has reportedly been filed against Juniper Networks, Inc. (“Juniper Networks”) and certain Juniper Networks officers and directors (collectively “Defendants”) in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, alleging, among other things, that Juniper Networks issued materially false and misleading statements regarding Juniper Network’s business and financial results and allegedly failed to disclose negative trends in Juniper’s business, purportedly in violation of federal securities laws, including the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, according to Juniper Networks securities fraud class action lawsuit news reports.

The Juniper Networks class action lawsuit complaint reportedly alleges that Juniper Networks failed to disclose to investors that (a) Juniper was allegedly losing market share in its security business to its competitors due to technical issues with certain products and turnover in its sales force; (b) Juniper was allegedly forced to dramatically lower prices, which was having a material adverse effect on Juniper’s margins; (c) Juniper’s new product launches allegedly would not meaningfully contribute to Juniper’s operations until 2012.

The Juniper Networks securities fraud class action lawsuit complaint is reportedly brought on behalf of a putative class consisting of purchasers of Juniper Networks common stock who purchased or otherwise acquired Juniper Networks stock JNPR during the period from July 20, 2010 and July 26, 2011 (the “Class Period”).
