Court Transfers Class Action Lawsuit Filed Against GoDaddy Over Domain Name Pay Per Click Ad Revenue To Arizona Federal Court
On March 29, 2010, United States District Judge Harry F. Barnes entered an order granting GoDaddy’s motion to transfer venue to the Unites States District Court in Arizona a class action lawsuit that was filed against GoDaddy.com, Inc. and The Go Daddy Group, Inc. in the United States District Court for the Western District of Arkansas, Texarkana Division (styled Matthew McBride v. GoDaddy.com and The Go Daddy Group, Inc., Case No. 2:10-cv-00940-NVW) alleging that GoDaddy advertises on certain domain name owner’s registered websites, profiting from pay per click ads, without the permission of the GoDaddy domain name owners, according a class action lawsuit transfer order.
