Class Action Settlement Announced In California Wage & Hour Class Action Lawsuit Pending Against Wal-Mart Stores Over Termination Related Pay.

Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. has agreed to pay up to $86 million dollars to settle a wage and hour class action lawsuit pending against it in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California (styled In re Wal-mart Stores, Inc. Wage And Hour Litigation, Case No. 4:06-cv-02069-SBA) alleging that Wal-Mart failed to pay certain former hourly and salaried Wal-Mart Stores associates who were employed in California all wages due upon termination, including wages for accrued vacation time, overtime, and straight wages, according to class action settlement news reports.

Wal-Mart Stores California Wage & Hour class action settlement class members reportedly include all former hourly and salaried associates who were at one time employed by Wal-Mart (including Sam’s Club and Distribution Centers) in the State of California, but whose employment with Wal-Mart ended at any time from March 20, 2002 up through March 26, 2010, which includes approximately 232,000 former Wal-Mart employees.

    I did not get my part of the settlement. I would like to know what happened to it? I received the information about the class action suit and never the payment.
