It was definitely a dog and pony show. We paid Traveler’s for 15 years faithfully, but when it came time for this ONE claim, we got nothing. The first adjuster promised us the stars and the moon. We started repairs. He lost our only pictures of the damages and was either fired or quit. The second adjuster promised only a little less. He lost our paperwork. Used my 401k to repair our home. Bye bye retirement fund. The third adjuster, months later, saw no damages. Really now. We got NOTHING!

I was told all my damage was caused by the water, but I know for a fact the wind destroyed my house 1st, because my doors were blown open when the storm hit because my alarm company called to inform me right when the storm hit. I told the operator it was a hurricane going on, then she said “Wow my board is light up all from the same area.” I just can’t seem to get passed their deception so I no longer live in New Orleans.
