Parmalat Securities Class Action Settlement Over Ex-Auditors’ Alleged Role In Parmalat’s 2003 Collapse Receives Final Approval
The Parmalat securities class action settlement has been given final court approval by U.S. District Court Judge Lewis Kaplan in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, according to a class action settlement news report.
The Parmalat securities class action lawsuit reportedly provides that former Parmalat auditors Deloitte Touche and Grant Thornton will pay $8.5 million and $6.5 million dollars, respectively, to resolve their involvement in the Parmalat litigation.
