A Class Action Lawsuit Against Nationwide Insurance Over Excessive Term Life Insurance Premiums Has Settled
A class action settlement has been reached in a class action lawsuit filed by Nationwide term-life insurance customers in Franklin County Common Pleas Court in 2005, according to a class action settlement news report.
The Nationwide class action lawsuit reportedly alleged that Nationwide charged and collected from term life customers who paid semi-annually, quarterly or monthly premiums more than the maximum annual premiums permitted in their Nationwide insurance policies.
The Nationwide class action settlement reportedly involves overpayments that took place between February 10, 1990 and February 2, 2006 and involves approximately 230,000 Nationwide customers.
