FedEx Office Class Action Settlement of FedEx Office Credit Card and Debit Card Receipt FACTA Class Action Lawsuit

If you made a purchase at a FedEx Office store between April 2009 and April 2010 using a credit or debit card and received a receipt showing the first two digits and last four digits of your card number, you may be entitled to a $50.00 FedEx Office Store Value Card under the Tchoboian v. FedEx Office class action settlement.

A class action settlement has been reached in a FACTA class action lawsuit against FedEx Office and Print Services, Inc. (“FedEx Office” or “Defendant”) in the United States District Court for the Central District of California (styled Tchoboian v. FedEx Office and Print Services, Inc., Class Action Case No. SACV10-01008 JAK MLGx, Judge John A. Kronstadt), alleging, among other things, that FedEx Office issued credit and debit card receipts that were noncompliant with a law known as the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1681, et seq. (“FACTA”), according to the FedEx Office receipt Class Action Settlement Notice.

FedEx Office Credit & Debit Card Receipt settlement class members reportedly include individuals who made a purchase at a FedEx Office store between April 2009 and April 2010 using their own credit card or debit card (not a card issued to a business), and who received a receipt showing the first two and last four digits of their card number, and who can present the actual receipt or a photocopy of the receipt.

Under the FedEx Office Credit & Debit Card Receipt class action settlement, a Class Member who timely submits a settlement Claim Form (along with a copy of their FedEx Officereceipt) will be provided a Store Value Card worth $50.00 that can be used at any FedEx Office location in the United States for FedEx Office Express Pay services such as copy machines, facsimiles, computer rentals, Lapnet Stations, and Sony Picture Stations.
