Wilmington Trust Shareholder Class Action Lawsuits Filed Over Sale To M&T Bank

Wilmington Trust Shareholders File Class Action Lawsuit Complaint Against Wilmington Trust Over Alleged Sale To M&T Bank Corporation.

A shareholder class action lawsuit has been filed against Wilmington Trust Corp. (“Wilmington Trust” or “Defendant”) in the Delaware Chancery Court, alleging, among other things, that Wilmington Trust and its board of directors violated the law by agreeing to sell Wilmington Trust to M&T Bank Corporation (“M&T Bank”) through a flawed process and on terms allegedly preferential to M&T Bank, according to Wilmington Trust shareholder class action lawsuit news reports.
