Toyota Motor Acceleration Class Action Lawsuits To Be Consolidated in MDL in U.S. District Court For The Central District of California

U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation MDL Rules That Federal Judge James V. Selna in Santa Ana, California Will Oversee Lawsuits Against Toyota Motor Over Sudden Unintended Acceleration

According to the Consumerist, for now all class action lawsuits against Toyota Motors over allegations of sudden unintended acceleration — whether involving injury claims to claims of loss in resale value — will be pooled together in the United States District Court for the Central District of California.

The MDL panel reportedly explained that “Toyota maintains its United States corporate headquarters within this district, and relevant documents and witnesses are likely located there. Far more actions are pending there than in any other district.”

How one can join the class action suit
I leased a Toyota Tacoma in 2007 that’s part of the recall
And also I was very badly fraud by the Carson Toyota Dealer in regard to:
    the price of the car
    the money rate factor
    duration of the lease
monthly payments that were wrong to start with it
    term of the lease
auto insurance that it was provided even tough I had auto insurance warranty, etc

I purchased a 2004 Camary xle in 2004 within 6 Months I returned to the dealer 3 times because of uncontrollable acceleration. Each time they told me they checked the car and could not find anything wrong. They said they even had a toyota factory representative check the car. They finally told me unless they can experience the problem as they checked the car there was nothing wrong with the car. As the years past by and I experienced uncontrollable acceleration I would immediately turn the engine off to stop the acceleration. My wife would not drive the car because she was afraid she would have an accident. One time in 2008 when my wife had to use the car ( the one time I could not drive her ) she was stopped and waited behind a big SUV at an intersection with a red light ,the car began to accelerate even though her foot was on the break. Our Toyota slammed into the back of the SUV. Had my wife not been behind a large vehicle her car would have been thrown into cross traffic and she could have been seriously injured or killed. Since I knew the car was not safe to drive I decided to go into arbitration with Toyota under the lemon law. Based on all the documentation, and me and my wife’s testimony, the judge ruled in my favor. I told Toyota I wanted another car so they took back our car and suprisingly gave us a new 2009 Toyota camry XLE. I was thankful my wife was ok and we got rid of the car. So far the new car has given us no problem. I did get a recall notice and took the car back to the dealer just to be safe.

My husband pulled out Toyota tacoma in the garage. While sitting there getting ready to turn the motor off with his foot on the brake, the truck lunged forward and hit a machine in the shop. He pushed the brake as hard as he could, to no avail. It broke the grill, both lighs and possibly sprung the hood. Toyota says it will be 45 days before they can look at it.

WARNING if u own a Prius:
Before u loose your steering on a Prius u may hear a rubbing sound coming from the steering column.

This is a warning that your rack and pinion is about to fail. This is a 1900.00 repair in Honolulu. If you spin the wheel u will break the clockspring, also called the squid, in the steering column. Your airbag light will come on and u will loose engine control. The squid repair will cost over 400.00 by Servco Honolulu.

Over 1 million Prius’s were recalled in 01 to 03. Our 06 had the same problem. You will only be able to tell your story if u survive the crash. Let us know if u would like to hear the rest of the story.
