GameStop Customer Files Class Action Lawsuit Against GameStop Over Marketing and Sale Of Used Video Games
A class action lawsuit was filed against GameStop in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California on behalf of a class of GameStop customers who purchased a video game from GameStop and were allegedly deceived into believing its used games come with free downloadable content, even though they do not, according to a class action news report.
The GameStop class action complaint reportedly seeks restitution and punitive damages for alleged fraud and unfair business practices, as well as interest on money GameStop made from the sale of used video games.
