Fuqi International Securities Class Action Lawsuit Filed

Fuqi International Investors File Securities Class Action Lawsuit Against Fuqi International Over Alleged Inventory and Cost of Sales Misstatements

A securities class action lawsuit was filed against Fuqi International in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on behalf of purchasers of Fuqi International common stock (FUQI) between May 15, 2009 and March 17, 2010 for alleged violations of the federal securities laws, according to a class action news report.

The Fuqi International securities class action complaint reportedly alleges that Fuqi International failed to disclose material facts about its true financial condition, business and prospects, including a material misstatement of its inventory and cost of sales due to alleged deficiencies in internal and disclosure controls with respect to Fuqi’s  inventory and cost of sales.
