Five Farmland Foods Employees In Missouri File Wage & Hour Class Action & Overtime Pay Lawsuit Against Farmland Foods Over “Donning and Doffing” Time.
A wage and hour overtime pay class action lawsuit and collective action was filed against Farmland Foods, Inc. in the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri (styled Jacob Ingersoll, Richard A. Truitt and Joshua Tiedmann v. Farmland Foods, Inc., Case No. 5:10-cv-06046-REL) alleging that Farmland Foods did not pay employees at Farmland Foods’ pork processing plant for the time they spent getting into and out of safety gear and cleaning it (i.e., “donning and doffing) and walking to and from their workstations and production floor, allegedly in violation of federal and state wage & hour laws, according to a class action lawsuit news report.
