Walt Disney Disney Pictures Employees File Class Action Lawsuit Complaint Against Disney Over Overtime Pay
A class action lawsuit has been filed against Walt DisneyPictures (“Walt DisneyPictures ” or “Disney” or “Defendant”) in Los Angeles California Superior Court alleging, among other things, that Disney denied certain financial analysts and contract researchers in the participations, royalties and residuals department at Walt Disney Pictures proper overtime pay wages during a six-year period between July 2004 and August 2010 even though they worked more than 40 hours a week by allegedly inaccurately labeling the Disney employees as “exempt” under California labor law, according to a class action lawsuit news report.
