Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream Customers File Class Action Lawsuit Against Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream and Nestle Over Nutritional Labeling of Drumsticks and Dibs
Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream customers have filed a class action lawsuit in U.S. District Court in the Northern District of California (Oakland) against Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream and Nestle over the marketing and sale of Drumstick, Dibs and other ice cream products labled as having “0 g Trans Fat” or “Original”, according to the Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream and Nestle class action complaint.
The Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream and Nestle class action lawsuit complaint reportedly alleges false advertising under the Lanham Act, 15 U.S.C. 1125 et seq., California Business and Professions Code 17200 and 17500 et seq. , and California Legal Remedies Act, Civil Code 1750 et seq.

It’s about time one of these companies is sued for advertising zero trans fats per serving and the ingredients clearly include hydrogenated oils. Why are we not doing this with all of them? I don’t care that the FDA allows them to legally advertise it as long as it is less than half a gram. It’s all a lie.
