Pharmacists File Class Action Lawsuit Against Cardinal Health (CAH), Medicine Shoppe, Inc. (MSI) and Medcap Pharmacies Over Franchise Agreements
Medicine Shoppe and Medicap independent pharmacy franchisees have filed a class action lawsuit in U.S. District Court in the Southern District of Ohio against Cardinal Health (CAH), Medicine Shoppe Inc. (MSI), and Medicap Pharmacies Incorporated (MC), according to a class action news report.
The Cardinal Health, Medicine Shoppe, Inc. and Medcap Pharmacies class action lawsuit complaint reportedly alleges that Cardinal Health, Medicine Shoppe and Medcap engaged in wrongdoing 2009 in connection with an attempted renegotiation of existing franchise agreements, and in particular “Option 1 Stores” and “Option 3 Stores.”
