Campbell Soup Customers File Class Action Lawsuit Against Campbell Soup Company Over Campbell Tomato Soup
Campbell Soup customers have filed a class action lawsuit in U.S. District Court in the District of New Jersey against Campbell Soup Company over their marketing and sale of condensed tomato soup, according to a Campbell Tomato Soup class action complaint.
The Campbell Tomato Soup class action lawsuit complaint reportedly alleges that the label on the Campbell Less Sodium Tomato Soup boasts “25% less Sodium” than the regular condensed product but contains the same 480 mg of sodium as the Campbell Regular Tomato Soup and that the label on the Healthy Request Tomato Soup boasts that it is “low in fat and cholesterol” but contains more fat than the Campbell Regular Tomato Soup.
The putative Campbell Tomato Soup class representative brings class action claims for alleged violations of the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act, Breach of Express Warranty, Unjust Enrichment and Injunctive Relief.

Over the past 20 years, I have had multiple instances of heart palpitations and trips to the E.R. of different hospitals. I spent spells in the hospital undergoing tests of every variety on my heart and a good deal of funds for the stays plus buying prescribed drugs. Nothing definitive was ever found to pin point the cause of the palpitations.
After a year from the last palpitation episode, I took careful note of what I had eaten if my heart began to act out of tune. I discovered that any time I had eaten any food containing MSG such as some of these “Heart Healthy” soups, or certain boulion products the condition would occur to various levels of severity. I now avoid any of the above products and haven’t experienced any problems of late. This ingredient should be outlawed entirely from retail food products and meals and commercial food servers.
