Bancorp South needs to be sued over the sloppy way they handle peoples home mortgages. If you ask for an extension, you’ll end up with foreclosure. This is what happen to me. I asked for an extension in Dec. 2009, so that I could take care of some business accounts. A year later they have me in foreclosure. I did not ask a year ago to have my house taken from me and make me homeless. I asked for an extension on my loan. I was told that I would have to not pay my loan for one month, so I did. Then all the sudden I am in another part of the bank called Loss mitigate. This is the last resort. How can one bank representative make a mistake like this is beyond me. Bancorp South deliberately did not send me required paperwork in one package. There was always one page missing. I can’t sign something I do not have. This bank has caused me alot of pain and financial problems.

Bancorpsouth had me have a cosigner for a 95k home loan 15yr after Hurricane Katrina they gave me a credit card, home equity line, and another 195,000 15yr home loan totally over 300,000 in home loans and I was making 40k a year, sold first home and of course lost the second and If I was thinking right I would of known I could not afford it but now thinking about it I cannot get a loan for 2k,credit is shot and why did they give me that.Plus it jumped from 1200 a month to 1600 a month just note, not insurance, taxes, etc…What kind of practice is that.
