This case is a companion case to a similar case my firm filed in Alabama more than six years ago. Unfortunately, the false advertising continues, and we are hopeful this case will convince JC Penney to change its deceptive practices. I purchased a ring from JC Penney 7 years ago. I was told it was Ruby Diamond, and Gold. I just tried to sell it, but before doing so, had it looked at by a jeweler. Come to find out it was not a Ruby after all, but next to worthless Red Zircon. I’m furious. Is there anything to be done?
