Snapfish Valuepass Enrollees File Class Action Lawsuit Complaint Against Hewlett Packard HP d/b/a Snapfish.com & Regent Group.
A class action lawsuit has been filed against Hewlett-Packard Company dba Snapfish.com (“Hewlett-Packard” or “HP” or “Snapfish.com”) Regent Group, Inc. dba Encore Marketing International, Inc. (collectively “Defendants”) in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California (styled Carol Hill Castagnola v. Hewlett-Packard Company dba Snapfish.com and Regent Group, Inc. dba Encore Marketing International, Inc., Class Action Case No. CV 11 5772 JCS), alleging, among other things, that Hewlett-Packard dba Snapfish.com transferred its customers credit card information to third party Regent dba Encore Marketing who allegedly used the credit card information to enroll customers into a fee-based membership, according to the Hewlett Packard HP Snapfish.com Valuepass & Regent Group class action lawsuit complaint.
The Hewlett Packard HP Snapfish.com Valuepass & Regent Group class action lawsuit complaint is reportedly brought on behalf of a putative class consisting of the following persons, unless otherwise excluded:
All persons who were enrolled in the Snapfish Valuepass program after December 1, 2007 (the “Class”)
All persons who were enrolled in the Snapfish Valuepass program after December 1, 2007 and who are senior citizens as defined in California Civil Code section 1761(f). (the “Senior Subclass”)
