BMW E46 3 Series Vehicle Rear Axle Sub-Frame Class Action Settlement

If You Have Ever Owned Or Leased A 1999-2006 Model Year BMW 3 Series Vehicle, You May Be Entitled To Benefits Under A Class Action Settlement.

A class action settlement was reached in a class action lawsuit against BMW of North America, LLC (“Defendant”) in the United States District Court for the Central District of California (styled Eric Bacca v. BMW of North America, LLC, Case No. 2:06-cv-06753-DDP-AJW) alleging that the sub-frame in 1999-2006 Model Year BMW 3 Series vehicles are defective in that the rear axle supports weaken from the constant loading and unloading associated with normal driving, eventually fracturing and ripping away from the chassis sheet metal, according to the BMW E46 3 Series Rear Axle Class Action Settlement Notice.

The BMW E46 3 Series rear axle sub-frame class action settlement reportedly provides, among other things, that settlement class members may present their 1999-2006 Model Year BMW 3 Series vehicles to an authorized BMW dealership for inspection and, if needed, repair of the vehicle’s sub-frame.  Class members may also be entitled to reimbursement of sub-frame repair expenses that they previously incurred.  To obtain reimbursement under the settlement, you must timely submit a valid claim form.

Settlement Class Vehicles include BMW E46 Vehicles distributed by BMW in the United States. BMW E46 Vehicles consist of all 1999-2006 Model Year 3 Series vehicles and does not include the Z3 model vehicle (E36) or Z4 model vehicle (E85).

The subframe class action lawsuit has ended in October 2010. After October 2010,BMW is no longer responsible to fix any cracked or torn subframe. You are on your own ….sorry bro.
