Retail Car Buyers File Class Action Lawsuit Against Enterprise Holdings, Inc. d/b/a Enterprise Rent-A-Car Company Over Alleged Marketing Of Side Air Bags

A class action lawsuit was filed against Enterprise Holdings, Inc. d/b/a Enterprise Rent-A-Car Company and other Enterprise related entities alleging that Enterprise Rent-A-Car marketed  vehicles as having side impact air bags  but re-sold them without the advertised air bags, according to a class action lawsuit news report.

The Enterprise Rent-A-Car side air bag class action lawsuit, styled Timothy Withrow and David Tucker v. Enterprise Holdings, Inc. d/b/a Enterprise Rent-A-Car Company et al., was filed in the Circuit Court of St. Louis County, State of Missouri on April 28, 2010 and reportedly includes the following vehicles:  2006, 2007, 2008 model year Chevy Impalas; 2008, 2009 model year Chevy Cobalts; 2009 model year Chevy Heritage High Roof (HHR); and 2006 and 2007 model year Buick LaCrosse.

    Enterprise has been sued for wrongful death in Tulare County Superior Court in California.

    Why isn’t the federal government involved in this and forcing the installation of these air bags. A $100.00 voucher for a rental car is not going to protect me in an accident. If I had known about this scam I would not have purchased one of these vehicles. Apparently our federal legislatures have limos and don’t drive cars like Chevy Impalas
    like the working class that considers a car a major purchase.

    Is that all we are going to get out of this settlement is a $100.00 voucher for a rental car and some sticker , no money for our car with no airbags … you got to be kidding me.

    I received a letter in the mail last month for this and I have lost it. How can I contact Enterprise about this suit or how can i respond to be included in the calss action lawsuit?

    i received a voucher for 100.00 rental who needs that, they should have made them pay for everyone to have the airbgs installed the got off to easy ! that is really sad. and who wants to put stickers inside of their car saying no side airbags what a dmn shame!!!!
